Description
Harstad municipality intends to enter into contract with Geodata AS for map software through the ELA contract (Enterprise License Agreement) for ESRI products, as well as map services from Geodata AS. The procurement is for a compound package with map tools and sharing map stories and products online. This includes being able to create map tools in a cloud that are adapted to different needs and data. The objective of the procurement is to facilitate good map tools for use in the municipality ́s work, as well as to present results from analyses and other map related work in a good and efficient manner that is easily accessible to recipients/users. From experience, ESRI ́s tool for the above mentioned targets is mostly used in municipalities that work with, for example, 3D in planning work (ArcGIS Urban), resulting in a more low-threshold experience exchange and collaboration. In connection with the procurement, it has been checked whether other tools can be used. Our conclusion is that other systems only cover parts of the need.
