Description
This notice serves as a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and is not a call for competition. The National Transport Authority (the “NTA”) wishes to advise the market of its intent to commence a competition for the provision of passenger transport services (‘the services’)for the Ryder Cup. The NTA intends to commence this procurement in Q2 2026. The Ryder Cup will take place in Adare Manor between Monday 19 September and Sunday 26 September 2027. The NTA proposes to conduct a competitive process using the open procedure to award a contract for the provision of passenger transport services for the duration of the event. The NTA anticipates awarding the contract across a number of lots of varying sizes. The anticipated scope of services includes the provision of buses and/or coaches, together with drivers, to operate passenger transport services between several temporary park and ride facilities and Adare Manor, as well as the operation of “train and ride” services between Colbert Station, Limerick Junction and Adare Manor.
