Peleti za grijanje – prešani drvni ostatak dobiven mehaničkim strojnim prešanjem iz čiste, nekontaminirane drvne piljevine/ usitnjenog drveta, vlažnosti manje od 10 % sa visokom energetskom učinkovitosti, te malom količinom pepela ( ≤ 0,7%) prilikom izgaranja, odnosno sukladno standardima ISO 17225-2:2021 i EN plus A1 ili jednakovrijednima. Peleti spadaju u obnovljive izvore energije te su u usporedbi s fosilnim gorivima gotovo CO2 neutralni.
