Description

The Works require the removal and disposal of existing pedestrian paths and construction of new pedestrian paths, and ancillary works to stretches on Chesterfield Avenue, Ordinance Survey Road, and other sites within the Phoenix Park, Dublin 8. These areas are shown on attached drawings which should be read in conjunction with the specification for works. One contract will be awarded for all of the proposed works. Approximate quantities for the entire works are as follows: - (i) Excavation and disposal of existing paths 8,720 m2 (ii) New path construction - hardcore 8,720 m2 (iii) New path construction - macadam 7,000 m2 (iv) Subbase to footpaths – supplied by OPW 655 m3 (v) Imported subbase requirement 655 m3 (vi) Blinding 350 m3 (vii) Top soiling Item (viii) Timber sleeper removal 470m (ix) New Bollards / Bollard reinstallation/replacement Item (x) Road marking Item All stripped/excavated materials to be removed and disposed of off-site.
