Upphandlingen avser en helhetsleverantör för IT-drift, support och strategisk rådgivning. Leverantören ska fungera som en långsiktig IT-partner och tillhandahålla en säker, kostnadseffektiv och framtidssäkrad IT-miljö. Tjänsten omfattar bl.a. drift och underhåll av infrastruktur och Office 365, IT-support (servicedesk och på plats), leverans av IT-hårdvara samt strategisk rådgivning inom IT-miljö och säkerhet.
