Description

Works comprises of a new Outpatients Department at Building 4, University Technology Campus, Curaheen Road, Cork for Health Service Executive. Works will include refurbishment and fit-out of Building 4, with and including the construction of an extension to the front of the building to facilitate installation of a new lift. Accommodation will includes Consultant rooms, Treatment rooms, Radiography rooms, Plaster rooms, Phlebotomy, Assessment rooms, Admissions bays, Store rooms, Admin rooms, VFac, Clinical Equipment Stores, Clean Utility, Dirty Utility rooms, ICT, Medical Records, Reception, Nurse Base together with associated support and plantroom accommodation. Works will be completed on a live campus, with no disruption to adjoining building users and or services allowable. In order to ensure the continued operation to adjoining campus users a high level of management, safety, dust and infection control procedures will be required on site. It is anticipated that the construction works will take approximately 38 weeks, commencing in Q2, 2024.
