Description
Instructions: Tenderers must make their submission in a single .ZIP file, so as to avoid corruption of individual filenames of the files uploaded. SVUH welcomes requests for clarification/additional information during the relevant deadline. Summary of scope: SVUH carries out up to 66 Liver Transplants a year and up to 8 Pancreas Transplants a year, with clear planning to increase these volumes. We also operate on hundreds of complex cancer cases a year that require post-operative High Dependency Unit (HDU) level care. SVUH requires a clinically recommended piece of equipment to be used during surgery to check a patient’s blood flow measurements through the major vessels that have been operated on prior to closing up surgically, ensuring improved patient outcomes and increased safety levels. SVUH is seeking a solution for surgeons to measure transit flow time in the hepatic arteries and portal veins intraoperatively especially in Liver Transplants and other Hepatobiliary surgery.
