Description
The Norwegian Sea Technology Centre includes both Sintef's research activities and the teaching and research activities of NTNU within marine engineering. The centre shall be one of the world's most advanced facilities for research and education and it will be the new national knowledge centre for ocean space technology. With a world-leading research and teaching infrastructure on the possibilities in ocean space, the centre shall ensure value creation for Norway through competitive ocean space industries and contribute to the green restructuring. The construction project received a start-up grant in the national budget in 2022, and the implementation phase is underway.
