Description
Through the Nordic Council of Ministers, the Nordic countries are working together to establish green corridors for emission-free shipping between ports in the Nordic Region. On the basis of the work undertaken in the "Nordic Roadmap for the introduction of sustainable zero-carbon fuels in shipping" and the "Pilot project on green shipping corridors in the Nordics", this procurement aims to further develop green shipping corridors, supporting the transition to sustainable and emission-free maritime routes. The focus area for the programme is to stimulate decarbonisation of shipping in the Nordic region, and to ensure that the green maritime industry in the Nordic countries will increase their competitiveness in this transition. The scope of this procurement, referred to as Phase II, centres on implementation and realisation efforts. The two year programme (2025-2027) contains the following four project building blocks: 1.
