Description
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Petten intends to replace the existing Air Handling Units (AHUs) and associated HVAC infrastructure located in buildings 308 and 309. The current ventilation systems are obsolete and have reached the end of their operational lifespan. Furthermore, preliminary technical assessments have indicated that the existing air renewal capacity is insufficient to maintain optimal indoor air quality for the occupants. To ensure a healthy, safe, and productive working environment, this procurement aims to upgrade the facilities. The primary objective is to improve indoor air quality, while simultaneously improving the overall energy efficiency of the buildings. The scope of this contract encompasses the supply, installation, and comprehensive commissioning of the new air handling systems and related infrastructure to provide a fully functional delivery.
