Description
SURF besteedt de bouw en het operationeel beheer (Service Desk, NOC-beheeractiviteiten en Field Services) van haar netwerk uit. Het operationeel beheer dient efficiënt en effectief te worden ingericht voor een optimale dienstverlening aan onze leden; kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en beschikbaarheid zijn essentieel. SURF voorziet een Opdrachtnemer die zorgt voor een stabiele dienstverlening aan de klanten van SURF, door verantwoordelijkheid te nemen voor 24x7 monitoring van het netwerk, het afhandelen van verstoringen en het implementeren van wijzigingen in het netwerk. Innovatie op de gebruikte software en processen in samenwerking met SURF heeft als doel de efficiëntie en kwaliteit continue te verbeteren. Een goede onderlinge samenwerking tussen Opdrachtnemer en SURF is belangrijk. Op dagelijks basis gaat dit om de uitvoering van de standaard processen. Daarnaast betreft het de samenwerking op tactisch en strategisch vlak om de dienstverlening te monitoren en te verbeteren waar mogelijk.
