Nätverksutrustning är en bred produktgrupp. I den här upphandlingen avses alla typer av produkter som kommer att köpas in för byggande av nätverk. PS-bolagen kan komma att köpa in utrustning och tillhörande tjänster för följande ändamål: Accessnätet på kontoret, dvs kontor switchar för klienter • Core switchar för kontoret (Campus Core) • WAN • Trådlöst nät, Wifi APs • Accessnätet i datahallar • Core switchar för datahallar • Tillhörande routrar • Mjukvara för drift och övervakning • PS-bolagen förnyar och bygger kontinuerligt ut nätverksutrustning, både på kontor och i datahallar. Marknaden för nätverksutrustning ändras ständigt, vilket medför att PS-bolagen behöver leverantörer som följer med den tekniska utvecklingen och under hela avtalstiden kan erbjuda den senaste tekniken och support.
