Looking for innovations to reduce emissions TenneT is looking for solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions of the operations buildings of our extra-high voltage (EHV) substations. We are doing this in our second Open Innovation Programme in which interested external parties can participate. Guided by global agreements like the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the EU Green Deal, TenneT is committed to addressing the urgent challenges posed by climate change. These agreements compel us to spearhead the journey towards carbon neutrality by 2050. The imperative for businesses to mitigate their environmental impact has never been more pressing. Second Open Innovation Programme Sustainability and innovation are our top priorities. We cannot shape a sustainable future on our own; for this we need the innovative brainpower of other companies. That is why TenneT is launching its second ‘Open Innovation Programme’.
