Description
This Contract Award Notice is acting as a Modification Notice under Article 72 of 2014/24/EU to CFT 3109037 Contract for Darndale Park Waste Removal and Wall Construction to Breffni Building and Civil Engineering. Description of the procurement at the time of conclusion of the contract: The Contract comprises clearance and removal of approximately 40,000 tonnes of illegally dumped waste material and construction of boundary treatments and 117m of new 2.5m high precast boundary wall and footpath between Darndale Park and a group of Traveller Accommodation site known as the Northern Sites on the north side of Dublin within the boundaries of Darndale and Priorswood. The works shall include site clearance, removal of all waste material (investigations suggest non-hazardous), removal of asbestos, removal of end-of-life vehicles and other electrical goods, treatment and removal of invasive species, construction of concrete boundary walls, construction of new footpath, environmental monitoring.
