The contracting authority will carry out a prior investigation of the market in accordance with the Austrian legislation on public procurement (§ 24 BVergG 2018). It is stated that this market exploration is not carried out in the context of a procurement procedure but rather is a non-binding market query in preparation for an optional procurement procedure under the Austrian law (BVergG 2018).
