Description
MetroLink is commencing Global Market Engagement as announced in the Global PIN on 7th July 2025. The first briefings will take place in Q3 2025. These events will provide an opportunity for the MetroLink team to share information about the MetroLink programme, outline upcoming procurement opportunities, and begin building strong, collaborative relationships with the market. The London event has been extremely well subscribed and above the numbers that the market engagement had could have reasonably foreseen, narrowing down suitable venues to those with a large enough capacity and that would be appropriate to the nature and scale of the event. The guestlist includes requests from the Minister's Office, Irish Embassy and British Transport Secretary to attend. The market engagement team reviewed over 30 venues in London to host the event. Of the venues reviewed, only two were of sufficient capacity and available on the date required. For the venue a quotation process was undertaken as the expected cost was to be below 50k.
