Description
The project mostly consists of traditional maintenance work on concrete structures in the area of Kárahnjúka Power Plant as well as occasional other maintenance projects. The main projects are concrete repairs on the concrete water cover of the Kárahnjúka Dam, masonry and concrete repairs on the buildings of the power plant and other general repairs. In the project description, there is a detailed description of each project separately. The contractor's work period is the whole year, but the bulk of the work will be done from May to the end of September each year, and the contractor must expect work throughout the summer, but it will not be possible to complete the summer's project in a rush for a short time due to the nature of the projects.
