Description
Deze opdracht omvat de levering en plaatsing van verrijdbare archiefkasten voor de bibliotheek van het nieuwe Learning & Innovation Center. Het LIC betreft een gebouw dat de leeromgeving van de toekomst representeert waar ULB en VUB Universitaire gemeenschappen zich verenigen. Op de grens van de campussen ‘Oefenplein’ en ‘La Plaine’ van de Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) en van de Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), beoogt het project de bouw en exploitatie van een 9000m² ‘landmark’ Learning & Innovation Center voorzien van alle nodige faciliteiten. Doel van de opdracht: De archiefkasten worden geplaatst in de voorziene ruimte grenzend aan de bibliotheek op niveau -1. Het archief functioneert als een actief archief. Al de uit te lenen boeken staan gestockeerd in dit archief en worden door de bibliotheekmedewerkers handmatig uit het archief gehaald en teruggeplaatst.
