Description
Hankinnan kohteena on laserablaatiolaitteisto Tampereen yliopistollisen sairaalan neurokirurgian yksikön käyttöön. Suoritetun markkinakartoituksen perusteella Medtronic Finland Oy:n tarjoama Visualase on ainoa mini-invasiivinen (perkutaaninen) aivokudosmuutosten laserablaatioon (Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy, LITT) tarkoitettu MRI-kuvaohjattu järjestelmä, jonka instrumentaatio on yhteensopiva Tays neurokirurgian leikkausosaston navigaatiojärjestelmien kanssa.
