Avsikten med upphandlingen är att anskaffa och ge berörda verksamheter hos Regionerna Kalmar, Blekinge, Kronoberg, Jönköping samt Östergötland tillgång till ambulansdirigerings- och prioriteringstjänster inklusive medicinsk bedömning och prioritering samt även kris- och katastrofberedskapstjänster och därmed förenliga tjänster såsom, men inte begränsat till, samverkan med övrig regional och kommunal vårdenhet.
