Description
Tampere University is inviting tenders for a Laboratory scale polymer extruder. The university has a need for a laboratory scale benchtop twin-screw extruder and accessories for thermal processing of thermoplastic polymers. The accessories include a gravimetric feeder, a conveyor belt and a set of dies. The devices will be used for low throughput extrusion of thermoplastic polymers and their composites with glass/ceramic fibers and particles. Research groups at the university are working with a wide and changing range of materials, polylactide being the most commonly used polymer.
