Description
Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a Two-Dimensional High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph (2D-HPLC) with a Quadrupole-Time of-Flight – Bio Mass Spectrometer (Q-ToF-Bio MS) system or other similarly performing types of mass detectors for Shannon Applied Biotechnology Centre at Technological University of The Shannon - Midwest. The requested system must be “top of its class” with broad and very precise capabilities of detection and identification of both small molecules and large bio-polymers such as poly-nucleotides, proteins, poly-saccharides, lipo-proteins, etc. The Ultra-performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometric detector is an essential instrument throughout Shannon ABC’s industrial engagement. It is the most relevant instrument for the study of complex biological and chemical samples such as 2D-UHPLC - MS/MS - Bio separates a complex biological mixture into its individual components. Post-separation of each of the compounds can be monitored and accurately identified by both UV-Vis and mass detectors in series.
