Upphandlingen omfattar kringutrustning till datorer till lärosätenas löpande behov. Leverantören ska erbjuda ett brett utbud av produkter inom datorkomponenter, datorutrustning, surfplattor, skärmar, lagring, minneskort, tillbehör till datorer exempelvis kablar, adaptrar, möss och tangentbord, mobiltillbehör samt ergonomiska datorprodukter. Med brett utbud menas produkter från flera tillverkare samt olika modeller och prisnivåer inom varje produktkategori.
