Syftet med ombyggnad och renovering av Marinmuseum är att genom åtgärdande av byggnadstekniska, funktionella och logistiska brister åstadkomma en väl fungerande byggnad som, med bevarande av byggnadens unika värden, möjliggör för hyresgästen och SFV:s förvaltning, att på ett miljövänligt och energieffektivt sätt bedriva verksamhet i byggnaden.
