Uppdraget består av två delar: dels att slutföra montering av ett yttre stöd för skeppet Vasa, dels pprojektering av inre stöttning. I montering av det yttre stödet ingår även rivning och bortforsling av den gamla, befintliga stödkonstruktionen.
