Description
Tampereen yliopisto järjestää vuodessa noin 60-80 tieteellistä kongressia, joista puolet on kansainvälisiä. Kongressien koko vaihtelee pääsääntöisesti 100-500 osallistujan välillä. Yliopisto hakee kumppania järjestämään kokonaismäärästä arviolta 30 tieteellistä kongressia vuosittain. Kongresseja toteutetaan sekä lähi- että hybriditoteutuksina. Kongressit käyttävät kongressin järjestäjän palveluita vaihtelevasti. Osa kongresseista tarvitsee vain ilmoittamisten vastaanoton palvelun ja maksuliikenteen hoitamisen. Osa taas kattavasti eri palveluita, joita kongressitoimisto tarjoaa. Yliopiston kongressien esitykset järjestetään suurelta osin yliopiston omissa tiloissa ja luentosaleissa.
