Description
The purpose of this service contract is to support FPI in strengthening existing and establishing new sustainable and systematic mechanisms and processes to foster, capture, use and disseminate knowledge more effectively in the areas of rapid response, and conflict prevention, peacebuilding and crisis preparedness. This will be primarily achieved through the provision of technical expertise in four interlinked areas, namely: knowledge management and research; monitoring and evaluation; events management; and communication and visibility, as follows: • Knowledge Management & Research: Knowledge production and capture are effectively strengthened, and individual and institutional experiences, good practices and knowledge better harnessed, including through the provision of external analyses and research (both desk and on the ground), and through contributions and in complement to existing EU analyses and data gathering processes (including but not limited to conflict analysis screening, structural country assessments, and sector evaluations, and in close coordination with relevant EU services, including DG INTPA, DG NEAR, DG ECHO, the EEAS and JRC). • Monitoring & Evaluation: Ind…
