Description
Upphandlingen omfattar ett system för kemikaliehantering vid Luleå tekniska universitet, i enlighet med de krav och villkor som anges i upphandlingsdokumenten. Samtliga verksamheter som hanterar kemikalier är skyldiga att föra register över förekommande kemikalier, deras förvaringsmetoder samt tillhandahålla aktuella säkerhetsdatablad. Detta krav framgår tydligt i Arbetsmiljöverkets föreskrift Kemiska arbetsmiljörisker (AFS 2011:19). Syftet med dessa föreskrifter är att fastställa hur ohälsa och olycksfall orsakade av kemiska riskkällor i arbetsmiljön ska förebyggas. Föreskrifterna är tillämpliga på alla verksamheter där kemiska risker kan förekomma. Arbetsgivaren bär ansvaret för att dessa föreskrifter efterlevs. För att underlätta efterlevnaden av föreskrifterna och säkerställa en säker hantering av kemikalier, upphandlas ett kemikaliehanteringssystem.
