De juridiska frågor Riksbanken hanterar är omfattande varför de från tid till annan, särskilt under perioder med särskild arbetsanhopning, kan behöva anlita extern juridisk kompetens. Det kan också förekomma att Riksbanken behöver tillgodose behov av speciell kompetens i vissa juridiska frågor. Den aktuella upphandlingen syftar till att tillgodose sådana behov.
