Description
The Authority invites Qualified Candidates who have been admitted to the Qualification System for the Provision of Public Bus Services in Ireland1 and who have, pursuant to the Information Memorandum: a)indicated that they wish to participate in tender processes for the Munster region; and b)been allocated to Contract Band 3 (or a higher Contract Band); to negotiate for a public service contract to provide public bus services in the town of Ennis, in Clare. The proposed public bus passenger services are required to operate on two new routes in Ennis, NS1 and NS2, as described below and shown on Figure 1. The services are required to operate at thirty-minute intervals in both directions on each route on every day of the year, except for Christmas Day. Route NS1 is approximately 10.3 km in length, extends from Clarecastle, via Ennis town centre, to Ballymaley with twenty-six (26) stopping locations along its length (including termini).
