Syftet med uppdraget är att förbättra företags möjligheter att finansiera utvecklingsprojekt för energiinnovationer och ge svenska företag med energiinnovationer möjlighet att växa. Målsättningen med uppdraget är att attrahera nationellt och internationellt privat kapital till innovativa svenska små och medelstora företag med energiinnovationer. Uppdraget ska bidra till att underlätta för företag i målgruppen att genomföra privat kapitalanskaffning på ca 5-10 MSEK.
