Description
Porsanger municipality has a "sure- for" responsibility for the population being offered the necessary health and care services. The municipality has the freedom to decide how these health services are organised, including whether a service shall be provided by itself or procured. Porsanger municipality ́s intention is to deliver nursing home places under their own auspices. Based on the investigations that have been made, it was decided to award a contract for welfare services for a limited length of 2+1 years (1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027 + 1 year, where the last year can be taken up through an option if necessary) directly to the Stiftelsen Solbrått welfare centre, Cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 30-6, cf. § 30-5 (4). The contract comprises 10 standard nursing home places on an annual basis, with an option for an extra place. The service includes an option for 40 days per year with screening days. The reason for making a direct procurement is that Porsanger municipality does not currently have separate premises that can be used for the purpose within the area where the service shall be offered.
