Description
Agder county intends to procure a credit rating from Nordic Credit Rating. There are currently few municipalities and counties with an official credit rating. In the coming years there will be several billion kroner that Agder county will take up in new loans and older loans that will be refinanced. Agder county actively uses a tender contest for new loans and refinancing. In this process we seek to increase interest from new investors in the Nordic countries. Where the objective is to secure us many tenderers through an official credit rating as well as a lower credit mark-up in the securities market. Only one service provider has been found in the Norwegian market.
