Description
Sveriges kommuner ansvarar efter fattat riksdagsbeslut 2023, att från och med 2025-01-01 samla in och behandla separat utsorterat textilavfall som utgör kommunalt avfall. Textilavfall definieras som avfall som består av kläder av textil, hemtextil, inredningstextil, väskor och accessoarer av textil (enligt ändring SFS 2025/824 i avfallsförordningen 2020:614). Med anledning av rådande situation inom textilbranschen har Nyköpings kommun valt att avbryta gällande avtal och göra en ny upphandling. Avsikten är att upphandla en helhetslösning innefattande insamling av textil från återvinningsstationer (ÅVS), återvinningscentraler (ÅVC) och eventuella fastighetsnära platser i kommunen (FNI). Nyköpings kommun önskar en aktör för det aktuella flödet som kan hantera det insamlade materialet i enlighet med avfallshierarkins intentioner. Insamlingen sker i ett gemensamt flöde med textil för återanvändning och textilavfall. Textilavfallet ska separeras och sorteras ut för materialåtervinning och sista hand som energiutvinning.
