Vid Hyllstofta avfallsanläggning renas uppkommit lakvatten i en lokal SBR-anläggning. Reningstekniken är biologisk kväverening med hjälp av SBR-teknik. För denitrifikationssteget krävs tillsats av lättillgängligt kol, i form av en etanol/metanolbaserad kolkälla.
