Validatie van was- en desinfectietoestellen, inclusief karrenwas (waseiland valideren is geen verplichting en wordt bijgevolg niet opgenomen in de ovop), grote autoclaven, kleine autoclaven, lage temperatuur sterilisatoren, endoscopenreinigers en droogkasten. Dit zijn meestal hervalidaties (installatie kwalificatie, operationele kwalificatie en performance kwalificatie), tenzij voor ingebruikname van nieuwe toestellen worden er ook initiële validaties gevraagd (niet campusgebonden).
