Description
Växjö kommun har under 2019 arbetat med att ta fram ett hållbarhetsprogram, kallat Hållbara Växjö 2030. I hållbarhetsprogrammet belyses de utmaningar, för människa och miljö, vi tillsammans har att lösa. En åtgärd är att ställa utökade hållbarhetskrav i offentliga upphandlingar. Under 2021 fattades ett politiskt beslut gällande att fasa ut engångsartiklar av plast.
