Description
Upphandlingen omfattar ramavtal för hyra av sopcontainer, transport av containers och borttransport av verksamhetsavfall. Containrar enligt denna upphandling är i huvudsak rekvirerade på grund av tillfälligt behov. Men det förekommer också fasta containrar för specifika behov eller att dessa samnyttjas av flera verksamheter som inryms i avtalet. Undantagna är containers med tillhörande tömningstjänster för de fast utplacerade containrar som är knutna till kommunens källsorteringsavtal. Verksamhetsavfall för denna upphandling uppkommer från byggnationer (ej från byggentreprenader), rivningar, överbliven utrustning, utrangerade möbler, farligt restavfall från skolor och verkstäder, skyddsmaterial vid leveranser mm. Kommunens strävan är att verksamhetsavfallet skall vara sorterat vid avlämning så att hanteringen blir kostnadseffektiv, materialåtervinningen maximeras samt att energiåtervinningen blir optimal.
