Med hygieninrättningar menas kompletta toalett-, och duschmoduler, kopplade med vatten och avloppssystem till en vakuum-, pumpstation. Gemensamt för hygieninrättningar är att inga organiska material får förekomma som någon del av konstruktionen. Toaletter ska vara av typen vakuumtoalett. Duschar ska vara kopplade till vakuumsystemet.
