Description
This is an urgent requirement and a bespoke tender process, which will be run under Article 74 of EU Directive 2014/24/EU (Annex XIV Services Formerly Annex II B). This process may entail a number of stages in order to advance to award of contract. The HSE on behalf of the Regional Executive Office, University Limerick Hospitals Group, under the scope of the Urgent and Emergency Care Integrated Capacity Plan for HSE Mid West are seeking a Managed Service arrangement for up to 50 Community Rehabilitation Beds at a Community Rehabilitation Unit in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. Recognising the need to deliver additional rehabilitation capacity in the Mid West a number of procurement processes are underway to deliver a model of care that allows for adults with a rehabilitation need to access community rehabilitation beds locally, whether they are in an acute hospital or residing in the community. The model of care for Level 2 rehabilitation beds delivered as part of this plan is specialist Consultant led supported by a skilled interdisciplinary team, with clinical governance from a Rehabilitation Medicine or a Geriatric Medicine Consultant.
