Description
Linköpings universitet genomför en frivillig förhandsinsyn i enlighet med med LOU (2016:1145) 10 kap 5§, med avsikt att teckna avtal med Illumina AB. Avtalet gäller Iscan, en high-throughput array scanning platform (array scanning med tillhörande pipetteringsrobot) för att vara en del i en nationell diagnostisk service inom CG för hjärntumörer. För närvarande finns två CG enheter (Göteborg, Umeå) för hjärntumörsdiagnostik vilka ska utökas med ytterligare en nod vid LiU. De två nuvarande CG-enheterna använder metyleringsarrayer (Infinium MethylationEPIC BeadChip) från Illumina som avläses med hjälp av en iScan plattform. Eftersom den nya noden vid LiU kommer att fungera som en del i en nationell diagnostisk service inom CG för hjärntumörer innebär det att alla prover från CNS-tumörer i framtiden kommer att skickas till en av tre noder för klassificeras med hjälp av Illuminas metyleringsarrayer. För att kunna jämföra resultaten och samköra analyser så krävs det att noden vid BKV/COREF har samma utrustning som övriga noder.
