Description

Länsstyrelsen Västerbotten svarar för förvaltning av naturvårdsobjekt, jakt och fisketillsyn, arbete inom rovdjursområdet, övriga fauna och florainventeringar, statliga ledsystemet, kontroll av vissa av rennäringens anläggningar samt ett antal andra typer av inventeringar, planeringsarbeten och kontroller i hela länet. Länsstyrelsen har därmed behov av helikoptertjänster för i huvudsak persontransporter, lyftarbeten och skyddsjakt. Uppdragen kan både vara av planerad karaktär och med kortare varsel, ibland akut, till exempel vid skyddsjakt.
