Description
Knivsta kommun planerar att bygga ett överföringssystem för spillvatten från Knivsta avloppsreningsverk till en befintlig avloppstunnel i Märsta, varifrån vattnet leds vidare till Käppalaverket. Projektet syftar till att möjliggöra kommunens samhällsutveckling samt minska belastningen på Mälaren. Entreprenaden avser Etapp Syd, den södra delen av ledningssträckan i Sigtuna kommun, omfattande ca 4,6 km tryckspillvattenledningar från Västra Bangatan söder om Odensala till Bristagatan (Sigtunatunneln). Ledningarna förläggs huvudsakligen med schaktfria metoder genom jordbruksmark, medan en del sträcka utförs med konventionell schakt och bergborrning. Kommande upphandling planeras till senare delen av 2025-2026 för övriga 3 etapper.
