Inom Göteborgs hamn är det Göteborgs Hamn AB:s ansvar att underhålla och tillgodose att samtliga kajer inom hamnområdet har rätt förutsättningar och utrustning. Varje kaj behöver vara utrustade med fendersystem för att ta upp de krafter som fartyg ger upphov till. Fendersystemet ska skydda kajkonstruktion och fartyg från skador som annars kan uppstå. Göteborgs Hamn AB har beslutat att upphandla ett ramavtal för att kunna tillgodose detta behov framöver.
