Description
Excimerlaser används för bestående korrigering av synfel genom att ögats brytkraft förändras med en bestämd storlek/styrka. Femtosecondlaser används för att skapa snitt i hornhinnan vid transplantationskirurgi, kirurgi med biologiska eller syntetiska implantat, refraktiv kirurgi samt gråstarrkirurgi. Vid gråstarrkirurgi kan femtosecondlaser också öppna främre linskapseln och fragmentera linskärnan
