Description

This action seeks to deepen the EU’s trade and economic ties with Taiwan. To achieve this aim, the action will promote EU regulatory regimes and solutions, reduce barriers to market access for EU producers and exporters, and promote the EU investment environment. The action will also foster industrial cooperation and strengthen insights and understanding of investment and supply chain trends. The action will address a wide variety of EU policy priorities, including resilient and diversified value chains, building blocks of our trade relationship, green transition and ocean governance, and digital governance and digital partnerships. The action will allow for the direct engagement of many stakeholders, including the Taiwanese administration, private sector and businesses including small and medium-sized enterprises, academia, think tanks, research entities, trade and industry associations, and EU Member States.
