Αντικείμενο του παρόντος έργου είναι η ΕΠΕΚΤΑΣΗ ΤΟΥ ΕΘΝΙΚΟΥ ΔΙΚΤΥΟΥ ΤΗΛΕΪΑΤΡΙΚΗΣ (ΕΔΙΤ) – στις 1η, 3η, 4η, 5η, 6η και 7η ΥΠΕ, ήτοι η ανάπτυξη ενός συστήματος, επιπρόσθετα του υφιστάμενου και σε άμεση διασύνδεση μαζί του (καθώς και η αναβάθμιση του υφιστάμενου στην 2η ΥΠΕ ως προς την προμήθεια επιπλέον περιφερειακού εξοπλισμού και συνδρομητικών υπηρεσιών.(παρ. 1.3. και ΠΑΡΑΡΤΗΜΑ Ι της Διακήρυξης)
