Description
Waterways Ireland along with several other state agencies are a member of the Shannon Flood Risk State Agency Co-Ordination Working Group. As a member of this group Waterways Ireland contributes to a coordinated approach to flood risk management across the River Shannon. On behalf of the group Waterways Ireland is tasked with completing proposed strategic maintenance activities such as vegetation and siltation removal/management along the River Shannon.
