EirGrid Group operates and develops the electricity system in Ireland. Our 2020 - 25 strategy is shaped by climate change and the transition of the electricity sector to low-carbon, renewable energy. The Infrastructure Office leads the development and delivery of the power system and interconnection investment programmes in collaboration with partners, customers and communities. The Public Engagement team is responsible for the development and implementation of the overall approach to engagement on our transmission projects with communities, landowners, local government, local stakeholders and consenting bodies.
