Upphandlingen avser ramavtal för kommande elnätentreprenader. Det gäller kabelprojekt men även elnätstationer och gatubelysning ingår i omfattningen. Projekten består av en blandning av stadsmiljö och landsbygdsmiljö, där beställaren har för avsikt att satsa på landsbygdsnätet i en större utsträckning.
